3 DAYS:AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

DAY 1:NAIROBI – AMBOSELI

Get picked up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park which is renowned for its scenery with a backdrop of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro dominating the landscape and open plains. Arrive in time for lunch at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. Amboseli National Park, despite its small size (392 sq.km) and a fragile ecosystem, supports a wide range of animals (over 50 of the larger species) and birds (over 400 species). The waters from Mt. Kilimanjaro drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swamp land amidst dusty plains. Amboseli lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the landscape provides limited cover so you have a better chance of seeing some of the larger Animals. Elephant, buffalo, lion, gazelle, cheetah, wildebeest, hyena, jackal, warthog, giraffes, zebra, baboon and waterbuck are all present in the park. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

DAY 2:AMBOSELI FULL DAY
Take an early morning game drive and return back to the lodge for breakfast. Thereafter, with packed lunch, spend a full day in the park
in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their prey like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo etc., and with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 3:AMBOSELI – NAIROBI
Start very early in the morning for a game drive. This is the best time to view the predators hunt. It’s also the best time to see the sun rise against the majestic Mt. Go back to the lodge for breakfast and later drive to Nairobi with an optional Nairobi restaurant dinner experience at the Carnivore Restaurant at your own cost .You will then be transferred to your hotel for the night or the airport for a flight out.
